The first thing we feel when we breathe in jasmine is pleasure, is peace.
For many Spaniards its flower is that ticket back to their first home: to all those childhood memories they will always treasure.
Although we all feel this scent as ours, Jasmine will also connect with you if you are familiar with Spanish traditions:
If you have ever been to Andalusia, you will see its spring, the Semana Santa, the Feria…. The scent that comes from all its jasmine-filled fields and also from those balconies decorated with flowers that sparkle in the sun.
If you have ever visited the Mediterranean coast, it might take you back to a summer night there. Sitting on a terrace after dinner, a Lady of the night opens its flowers and its fragrance surrounds a lively conversation at the table.
Jasmine is conviviality, it is closeness.
And it never ceases to amaze us how such a simple scent can bring so many images from the Costa de la Luz to the Costa Brava.
